Canadian Nutrigenomics Education & Research
Science · Education · Translation
CNER connects nutrigenomics research, professional education, and responsible clinical translation to advance personalized health strategies.
About CNER
Canadian Nutrigenomics Education and Research Inc. is dedicated to understanding how genetic variation, nutrients, lifestyle, and environment interact to influence human health.
We support healthcare professionals, educators, researchers, and institutions through evidence appraisal, structured learning, research collaboration, and clear knowledge translation.

What We Do
01
Structured courses, workshops, and learning resources in nutrigenomics and precision nutrition.
02
Critical evaluation of gene–nutrient pathways, biomarkers, interventions, and emerging science.
03
Responsible frameworks that help professionals interpret complex data and plan measurable follow-up.
04
Program development, interdisciplinary partnerships, and quality-focused education consulting.
Research Priorities
CNER studies interconnected pathways rather than isolated genes, with attention to evidence quality, phenotype, context, and real-world relevance.
A change in one biological system rarely acts alone. Methylation influences gene expression and detoxification; mitochondrial function shapes energy, oxidative stress, and brain health; inflammation connects immune activity with cardiometabolic risk and healthy aging.
For this reason, CNER evaluates genetic variants within pathway networks and considers nutrient status, biomarkers, symptoms, lifestyle, and environmental exposure together. This systems approach helps distinguish meaningful patterns from isolated findings.

Our Principles
We distinguish established findings from emerging hypotheses.
Genes are considered alongside phenotype, lifestyle, and environment.
Responsible practice begins with scientific literacy and clear limits.
